About Hazelwood Park East Civic Association

The Hazelwood-Park East Civic Associations is a not for profit organization. The group is led by a group of volunteer officers that are elected each year. Membership is open to anyone, however only members who live in, own property or operate a business within our boundaries may vote or hold an office on the Board of Directors.

Meetings are held at:

Rosedale Recreation Activity Center in the Multipurpose Room. The location is:
5103 Hazelwood Ave. (in McCormick Elementary’s parking
lot)

We do not meet in June, July or August. The Civic Association promotes, supports or sponsors many local activities not limited to but including…

Accomplishments over the years

We prevented the construction of town homes with in association boundaries.

We persuaded the state to construct sidewalks leading to the bridge over I-95.

We persuaded the county to place concrete barriers on McCormick Ave. (To prevent dumping of garbage.)

We convinced the county to remove dead branches from a large tree.
